About Backyard Byrd, LLC
A backyard in this part of southeast Missouri earns its keep in the evening, after supper, when the light goes long and gold across the grass and the ridge finally starts to cool. Backyard Byrd, LLC keeps those yards ready for that hour — regular mowing, string-trimming around the swing set and the shed, edging the patio line, hauling away what the mower leaves behind. Cut at the right height, grass out here holds its color deep into a Missouri August instead of going straw-pale by the Fourth. The work is unhurried and it is exact: no ragged skirt around the deck posts, no clippings tracked up the back steps. The payoff comes at dusk, when the fireflies rise out of a lawn that feels even underfoot and nobody has to think about it at all.
