Woods Tree Service

About Woods Tree Service

Winter on the ridge country along Highway 65 is a study in bare wood — cedar fencerows dark against frozen pasture, hardwoods stripped to their bones, every flaw in a tree written plainly against a gray sky. Ice is the real hazard up here; it arrives silently and asks a tree to hold twice its own weight. Woods Tree Service uses the cold months for pruning and tree trimming that take that risk down before it comes, tree removal for the trees already beyond it, and storm damage cleanup when the ice wins anyway. There is something plainly good about a farm lane cleared by mid-morning, cut wood stacked at the fence and the ground left tidy. Around Buffalo and out through the pastures north toward Urbana, that is how the winter days go.
