EJ Onsite runs that stretch early, clearing the pull-offs and boat-ramp lots before the lake's handful of winter anglers show up with their trucks and trailers. A dam road iced over is no small thing out here — one bad patch and the whole route down to the water shuts itself off. The crew treats the descent like it deserves, working the curves first and the flat lots after, so the only thing left on the pavement by mid-morning is a thin gray line of salt.
