About Strong Roots Lawn Care, Inc

Under the hills around Brooking there is limestone, and above it only so much soil — which is why a Jackson County lawn in a dry August shows every thin spot it owns. Strong Roots Lawn Care, Inc works with that rather than against it: mowing at a height that shades the ground, trimming and edging so the borders stay honest, cleanup so nothing smothers what's holding on. By late summer the high ground goes the color of a paper bag while the low corners stay stubbornly green, and the route adjusts week by week to match. Then the September rains come and the whole town greens up again nearly overnight, and the mowers get busy. The name says where the attention goes — what's under the grass, not only over it.
