CB's Lawn Care

About CB's Lawn Care

Fog settles in the Big River bottoms most mornings until the sun burns it off the sycamores, and by then CB's Lawn Care is already on the first yard of the day. The route runs town streets and country lots around Bonne Terre — mowing on a steady cycle, trimming fence lines and mailbox posts, edging wherever grass tries to creep over concrete. Damp river air keeps the turf growing long past when it ought to quit, which suits anybody who likes the work. An afternoon storm can push everything a day, and the schedule bends and holds. Come evening the yards sit low and even, and the whole street looks rested.
