Total Lawn Maintenance

About Total Lawn Maintenance

From the strip of grass by the street to the far corner behind the shed, a yard in Battlefield has more edges than anyone counts until they try to keep them all neat. Total Lawn Maintenance takes on the whole of it: mowing the open lawn, trimming along fences and foundations, edging walks and drives, and blowing the last clippings off the concrete. On a warm morning a steady southwest breeze carries the scent of cut grass down the block, and porch flags lift and fall in the same wind. The point is completeness, with no forgotten corner and no shaggy strip along the ditch, just one even green from the street to the back fence. Battlefield holds every one of those corners.
