About Zick's Great Outdoors Nursery and Landscaping Co.

Where Castlewood State Park's limestone bluffs drop toward the Meramec River, Ballwin shows just how much can grow on a Missouri hillside. Zick's Great Outdoors Nursery and Landscaping Co. brings a grower's eye to the yards in town, pairing nursery plants with the landscaping work that sets them in the ground and helps them take hold. Autumn is a fine planting season here, the soil still holding summer's warmth while the air cools, giving roots time to settle before winter. A bed laid out with thought, a shrub placed where it can fill in, a lawn kept trim around it all: each piece joins the next. The result looks as though it has always belonged to its corner of Ballwin.
