About Houn Dawg Lawns LLC

Fog lies in the pasture bottoms south of Aurora until the sun climbs the Ozark plateau and burns it off, and that is the hour this lawn care outfit likes best. Mowers roll out while the grass is still silvered, and by mid-morning the dew line has moved on and the yards along the Highway 60 corridor are wide open to the light. Houn Dawg Lawns LLC mows, trims and edges, then clears the clippings off walks and drives so nothing tracks indoors. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn cut in clean straight passes on a Lawrence County summer morning, the stripes lying the way the light lies. Aurora's old mining blocks and its newer streets both get the same attention, week after week through the growing season.
