About Tifway Lawn, LLC

By July the McDonald County heat settles into the hollows around Anderson and doesn't leave until dark, and that is exactly the weather warm-season grass has been waiting on. Tifway Lawn, LLC mows straight through it — steady passes, blades set to keep the turf dense, string trimming where the deck can't follow the ground, edges cut where concrete meets green. Thunder builds over the hills most afternoons, and one storm can put a week of growth into a lawn overnight. So the schedule holds, and the yards along the highway and back up the side roads keep their lines. Come evening the smell of cut grass hangs in the still air, which is most of the reward.
