Lilly's Lawncare

About Lilly's Lawncare

Anderson lies down in the Elk River hills, where Indian Creek runs clear over chert gravel and the bluffs hold the morning shade a little longer than the ridgetops do. Lilly's Lawncare works those Ozark yards — few of them flat, most of them shaded somewhere, all of them growing hard from the first warm rain onward. Spring shows up with redbud and dogwood loose in the timber, and the mowing season follows right behind it, week after week. The work is cutting at a height the shade can live with, trimming around rock and tree trunks and porch steps, edging the walk, clearing the clippings off. A hill yard cut clean is a small victory, and it's the one on offer here.
