Gutzmann Lawn Care and Snow Removal

About Gutzmann Lawn Care and Snow Removal

Between Winsted and Lester Prairie the country is dairy ground and hayfield, and on a Saturday in July the smell of cut alfalfa and the smell of cut lawn are more or less the same thing. Gutzmann Lawn Care and Snow Removal runs the mowing through that stretch, weekly cuts, trimming along foundations, fence lines and mailboxes, edges held true down the length of a drive. Fall brings the leaves and the cleanups that go with them, and after that the trucks change over. Winter work here starts before the buses do, plowing driveways out, cutting back the ridge the county plow leaves behind, salting the walk. The McLeod County towns nearby get the same rounds, whichever machine is on the front of the truck.
