About Beck's Sweeping & Plowing LLC

Snow in Winona arrives off the river valley at odd hours, and Beck's Sweeping & Plowing LLC is built for the odd hours. While the grain elevators stand dark and the streetlights burn circles into the falling white, the trucks are already out, blades down, working driveways and lots back to bare pavement. There is a particular satisfaction in a lot swept clean before the first car needs it — square windrows, clear walks, salt laid where boots will land. This is winter work in an island city that has never been afraid of weather. From the East End to the Goodview line, Beck's keeps the season from getting the last word.
