Big Bark Tree Taming

About Big Bark Tree Taming

Willmar's older streets grow a ceiling — bur oaks and cottonwoods that have been drinking lake water since before most of the houses had paint. Big Bark Tree Taming works up in that ceiling and down on the grass beneath it, tending yards where shade and lawn have to get along. Midsummer, when the leaves close overhead and the light comes through green, a well-kept yard under big trees feels like the coolest room in town. The work is patient: trimming what crowds, clearing what falls, mowing around roots that have opinions. It is yard care for the part of Willmar that looks best from under a branch.
