Joel's Tree and Lawn Service

About Joel's Tree and Lawn Service

Whited is township country, all gravel roads, hayfields and stands of popple, a stretch of east-central Minnesota where the nearest neighbor might be a quarter mile off. Joel's Tree and Lawn Service mows and maintains lawns in Whited, keeping the yard around each farmhouse and rambler cut back from the field edge. In September, when goldenrod lights up the ditches and the mornings turn crisp enough for a jacket, the grass still wants one more good trim before frost. Every pass leaves the lawn even and the lot lines clear, a tidy square of green set into all that open ground. It is satisfying work, done with care for homes that sit a long way from town.
