About Clean Cut Outdoor Services

Snow in White Bear Lake likes to arrive after midnight, slanting through the streetlights along Highway 61, and that is when Clean Cut Outdoor Services goes to work. This is a snow removal operation, plainly and happily: plow, shovel, clear, repeat, until the town can move again. Driveways are opened before the first commuters back out; sidewalks are cut clean while the porch lights are still on. There is a particular satisfaction in leaving a hard straight line where a drift used to be, and this crew chases it storm after storm. By the time the sky goes pale in the east, the work is already behind them.
