Whaley Excavating and Concrete

About Whaley Excavating and Concrete

Wheaton sits on the floor of an old glacial lake, flat as a tabletop from the Bois de Sioux clear to the horizon, under more sky than most towns know what to do with. Grass comes on fast in that black bottomland once June arrives, and Whaley Excavating and Concrete keeps it in hand with mowing, trimming and edging on a steady turn. Wind is the constant out here, so clippings get blown back into the turf rather than left to drift across the walk, and the edge is held tight where grass meets concrete. Spring cleanup pulls a yard out from under the winter's matted residue, and the fall round takes the leaves before the first hard freeze sets them down for good. Simple, visible work, out where a mown lawn shows from half a mile off.
