Yardmasters Landscapes

About Yardmasters Landscapes

June evenings in West Lakeland stretch out long, the sandy oak-savanna ground giving back the day's heat while the shadows of the big burr oaks reach clear across the lawn. Yardmasters Landscapes works in that light, mowing, trimming and edging, and running the cleanups that open the year in April and close it under falling leaves. Sandy soil and old trees make a lawn a negotiation, and the reward is a yard that looks even and unhurried from the road. There is a particular pride in the last pass on a Friday: stripes true, edges sharp, clippings off the drive, nothing left to do but stand and look at it. Week after week, that is the work, from the township roads over toward Afton and Stillwater.
