Tonka Turf Lawn Care and Snow Removal

About Tonka Turf Lawn Care and Snow Removal

By deep winter the bay off Wayzata grows a village of ice-fishing shanties, and the town proves what it has always known: cold is not a reason to stay inside, it is just a different way of being outdoors. Tonka Turf Lawn Care and Snow Removal runs on the same conviction. When the snow comes down hard off the lake plain, the plows go out and driveways get opened, walk by walk, before the day asks for them. Come May, the shanties are long gone and the work turns to turf — the mowing and tending that give the company half its name and Lake Minnetonka's shore its summer green. It is a business shaped exactly like its town: half ice, half grass, all outside.
