Kokesh Landscape

About Kokesh Landscape

In June the cottonwoods along Wayzata's older streets let go their fluff, and for a week the boulevards look dusted with warm snow. Kokesh Landscape works beneath those trees — the boulevard strips, the front yards, the shaded side lots where grass grows thin under big canopies and needs a knowing hand. Lawn care in an old lake town is partly negotiation with what was planted a century ago. The craft is in reading each yard: where to mow high, where the roots run shallow, how to keep green going in dappled light. The reward is a street where the trees and the turf finally look like they agree.
