About Lon-E-mow Lawn Service

The last hour of a Waverly summer day is the good one: sun dropping away west down Highway 12, long shadows thrown by the hardwood windbreaks, the air finally letting go of its heat. Lon-E-mow Lawn Service is often still out in it, finishing the route while the light holds. Mowing, string trimming, edging along curbs and sidewalks, and the cleanups that bookend the year — that is the whole list, done one yard at a time. There is something worth having in a lawn cut at dusk, stripes running with the road and nothing left on the pavement. From April to leaf-drop, the towns strung along that highway keep the schedule full.
