About Darling Lawn & Snow, LLC

The first real snow usually comes to Minnetonka at night, in November, and by morning the pines around Lone Lake are carrying it like a held breath. Darling Lawn & Snow, LLC is out in that hush, clearing driveways and sidewalks while the flakes are still falling, because the day goes on whether the weather cooperates or not. When the lake gives its ice back in spring, the same hands pick up mowers and trimmers and give the growing season its due. There is a satisfaction in both kinds of mornings — the black ribbon of a cleared drive against white, and the first sharp mow lines of May. In a town this wooded and this hilly, the work never quite repeats itself, and that is part of the charm.
