About Zumbro Valley Landscaping, Inc.

On October mornings the fog lies in the Zumbro valley like a second river and burns off by nine, leaving the maples along the bluff roads lit up orange. Zumbro Valley Landscaping, Inc. runs the year in Wanamingo from both ends: mowing, trimming and yard cleanups while the ground is green, plowing and clearing once it goes white. Winter here does not ask permission, coming overnight across the ridge fields and packing into every driveway that faces west. The work then is to be there before the day starts, with the apron cut wide, the turnaround open, and the walk down to the door shoveled to the concrete. Then April arrives, the valley greens up again, and the mowers get their turn.
