About Turf Tech Garden Center and Landscaping

This far north the growing season is a short, generous window, and Walker spends it outdoors — bikes on the Heartland State Trail, boats going by, everybody making up for February. Turf Tech Garden Center and Landscaping spends that window on lawns: mowing, trimming, holding the green even from the first flush of May to the last cut before the birches let go. Sandy soil and lake air ask for attention, and the reward is a yard that looks composed against all that standing timber. There is a particular pleasure in the clean line where turf meets the woods. In Walker, a well-kept lawn is a small piece of order set down in the middle of a very large forest.
