About D&K Services

Walker sits with its boots in Walker Bay, and the whole town takes its cues from that water. D&K Services works the yards and drives along the south shore of Leech Lake, mowing through the long green weeks when the light hangs on past nine o'clock. Come the turn of the year, the same trucks are out before the bay has finished freezing, pushing snow off driveways so the first cup of coffee happens after the path is already open. There is real satisfaction in a lawn edged clean against a gravel drive, and in a plowed apron that looks like it was drawn with a ruler. Lawn care and snow removal — both halves of one long Cass County year.
