Yaro's Lawn and Snow

About Yaro's Lawn and Snow

The first forecast snow of October puts headlights on the Highway 53 bridge before dawn — the tall span over the old Rouchleau pit — and somewhere below in Virginia, Yaro's Lawn and Snow is checking the plow rig one more time. Winter is half the business and more than half the year up here, and Yaro's works it storm by storm: driveways opened, walks cut clean, banks pushed back before the town wakes. The other half is green — lawns mowed and trimmed through the sudden, generous summer the Range allows. Two trades, one town, and the same measure for both: when the crew pulls away, the place is usable again. That is the whole point of the work.
