White Pine Forestry & Excavation

About White Pine Forestry & Excavation

Back off the shore, on the road toward Finland and Isabella, the white pines carry snow in their arms and a heavy fall makes the whole woods go silent. White Pine Forestry & Excavation plows that country out of Two Harbors — long wooded driveways, forest approaches, places where the nearest neighbor sits half a mile of birch away. Clearing here means finding the edges under a foot of new snow and keeping the way out wide and true. Door approaches and walks get shoveled too, so nobody has to wade out to the truck. When the sky finally breaks and sunlight comes down through the pines onto fresh plow work, it is hard to beat.
