About Labat Home and Lawn Service

Two Harbors takes its summer in one short bright rush — lilacs in June, grass green right down to the basalt at the shoreline, the lake still cold enough to write its own weather. Labat Home and Lawn Service mows through that stretch, trimming and edging so a yard reads clean against the rock and birch, with cleanups at either end of the green season. Then the year turns over and the same trucks go to plowing: driveways opened, lots cleared, walkways shoveled after a night of lake snow. Living on this shore means keeping two completely different kinds of readiness on hand. Both come down to the same result — a property somebody can use, whatever the sky happens to be doing.
