About Breiland Landscaping

In late June the light over Thief River Falls hangs on past nine-thirty, and a lawn cut that evening seems to glow. Breiland Landscaping works those long hours of the northern summer, mowing, trimming, and edging the yards along the boulevards and river streets of town. The growing season up here is short and it is fierce — grass that waited under snow half the year comes up all at once, and keeping it even is a rhythm, week after week. There is a pleasure in the small geometry of it: the crisp line where lawn meets sidewalk, the stripes laid across a backyard like rows in a field. From Thief River Falls out to St. Hilaire and Red Lake Falls, Breiland keeps that brief green season looking cared-for.
