St. Croix Valley Lawn & Pool

About St. Croix Valley Lawn & Pool

July backyards in this valley run on their own schedule — sprinklers at dusk, screen doors, somebody's radio two houses over. St. Croix Valley Lawn & Pool keeps those yards cut on time: mowing, trimming close around fence posts and steps, edging a real line where the turf meets the concrete. The mowing gets done in the cool of the morning, before the heat comes down off the bluffs and the grass starts to wilt under the blade. By afternoon the clippings are gone, the borders are crisp, and the yard belongs entirely to whoever lives there. A summer lawn kept sharp is a small thing that makes a whole season feel easier.
