There are more greens in a Minnesota July than the word suggests — new growth, shade grass, the darker stripe where a mower has just turned. Shades of Green Landscaping works with all of them on the north side of Stewartville and out along the road toward Rochester, mowing weekly, trimming the edges a deck cannot reach, cutting a firm line where lawn meets pavement. Early morning is the good hour for it, before the heat and while the dew still shows every pass. Cleanups in spring and fall handle the thaw and the leaf drop. A finished yard has a settled look to it, and that is what the day is for.
