About Apex Site Prep

Starbuck sits on the west shore of Lake Minnewaska, and in deep winter the lake becomes a vast white plain that the wind sweeps straight up into town. Apex Site Prep answers that wind with a plow blade and a site-prep outfit's knack for moving material where it needs to go, pushing back the drifts that build across driveways and lanes after a hard night. It's a proud sight when a cleared path opens up from the shoreline toward the road just as sunrise turns the ice pink to the east. In a Starbuck January, the material that needs moving is snow, and plenty of it. Once the drives are open, the town can get back to its coffee, its lefse and its talk of the fish houses out on the lake.
