Ice Dams Removed

About Ice Dams Removed

Every St. Cloud winter writes the same story along the eaves: snow piles on the shingles, the freeze-thaw see-saw of February goes to work, and soon a ridge of ice is damming meltwater against the roof with icicles hanging like a warning. Ice Dams Removed exists for exactly that moment. The name is the whole mission — get the ice off the roofline and the snow load off the shingles before water finds its way into the walls. It is careful, patient, up-a-ladder work in the coldest part of the year, done while most of the town is inside by the fire. When they leave, the roof is clear, the gutters can breathe, and the melt goes where melt is supposed to go. In a climate like central Minnesota's, that is peace of mind measured in inches of ice.
