Broadfield Lawn & Snow

About Broadfield Lawn & Snow

In deep January, the Mississippi slows to a gray-white ribbon through St. Cloud, steaming a little where the current keeps it open, and the whole town seems to hold its breath between storms. Broadfield Lawn & Snow works inside that pause — the plow out while the snow is still sifting, the sidewalks cut clean before the first boots find them. Snow removal here is not an occasional errand; it is a standing appointment with the sky, kept over and over from November until the river breaks up again. Broadfield keeps it with a kind of patience the season respects. A driveway opened wide, banks squared away from the mailbox, a path down to the street that holds its line — that is the work, and they take it seriously.
