About Splitrock Co

Winter in Split Rock means dusk by late afternoon, birch trunks glowing pale in the gloom, and snow that keeps on coming long after the holidays have passed. Splitrock Co clears that snow, opening driveways tucked back in the woods so the township can keep moving. Northland snow takes many forms, heavy and wet after a thaw, dry as flour in a deep freeze, and each kind asks for a different touch at the controls. The reward is a lane cut clean through the drifts and ready for headlights on the way home.
