Curran Lawn and Snow

About Curran Lawn and Snow

On summer evenings the sound of music drifts up from the amphitheater at Huber Park, and the lawns of Shakopee lie freshly cut in the long river-valley light. Curran Lawn and Snow spends its days making that scene possible — mowing, trimming, keeping the green in good order while the town gathers by the water. Winter empties the riverfront and fills the driveways, and the work turns to plowing and shoveling, to opening paths through mornings that arrive at ten below. The rhythm suits them: loud growing months, hushed white ones, and a finished job at the end of either. If the yard looks ready for an evening outside, or the driveway is passable before the coffee is done, that was the point.
