About dad's legacy handyman and service

Come October, the tamaracks around Seavey turn a gold so bright they seem lit from within, and the grass beneath them wants one last cut before the cold arrives. Lawn care is the work of dad's legacy handyman and service in this quiet township, from the first mowing after the thaw to that final autumn trim. Out here a yard sits between wetland and woods, and keeping it neat is a small act of order in a big, wild place. The payoff comes on a crisp evening walk: short grass underfoot, the scent of cut clover and fallen needles, and a property ready to rest under the snow.
