A good lawn is mostly invisible — roots reaching down through Savage's sandy river-terrace soil, drinking deep, holding on through August. Healthy Grass works at that hidden layer as much as the visible one, timing mowing heights and lawn care to what Minnesota bluegrass actually needs. Early mornings here can be lovely for it: dew heavy on every blade, mist hanging over the ponds, the day's heat still an hour away. Cut too short and a lawn burns by midsummer; tended right, it stays dense and cool underfoot into fall. The name is the whole mission, and around Savage you can spot the yards where it is working.
