About Granite City Sod and Landscaping

Nothing looks more hopeful than a young lawn taking hold on ground that was bare in May. Granite City Sod and Landscaping works the Minden side of the St. Cloud area, where the bedrock that gave the Granite City its name sits close beneath the sand plain. Mowing keeps new turf thickening through its first summer, cut high enough to shade its own roots. Trimming and edging draw the outline — the drive, the walk, the bed lines — and all at once a yard looks like it belongs to the house standing on it. By the time the leaves come down and get cleared off, the ground has knit shut and the lawn is simply the lawn.
