About Amerigreen

Sauk Rapids sits on granite — the river shows it where the water breaks white over the ledges that gave the town its name. Growing a deep green lawn over that stony ground is its own kind of work, and it is the work Amerigreen has chosen. Feeding turf, mowing it to an even height, coaxing color out of soil that was prairie and rock not so long ago. The reward comes on a July afternoon when a yard glows against gray stone curbing, green answering granite. That contrast is the whole point.
