Silver Blade Lawn and Landscape

About Silver Blade Lawn and Landscape

Some February nights the moon comes out over Harriet Island and the fresh snow on the river flats turns actually silver — the whole city holding still under it. Silver Blade Lawn and Landscape takes its name seriously in both seasons: in winter, the plow blade catching that same moonlight as it clears drives and walks across St. Paul; in summer, the mower blade laying down clean passes on lawns from the flats to the hills. Landscape upkeep rounds out the year — beds tended, edges held, yards shaped so the good bones of a property show. The city gives this work two entirely different worlds to succeed in, white and green, and the craft is refusing to be casual in either one. Either way, the finish gleams.
