Shep’s Lawn Care

About Shep’s Lawn Care

Out on St. Paul's eastern edge, where Battle Creek cuts its wooded ravine and the streets of Highwood back up against the hills, August is loud with cicadas and thick with growth. Shep's Lawn Care works that green frontier — bigger yards than the city core, grass that runs fast after a thunderstorm, edges that blur into the woods if nobody holds the line. The job is holding the line: mowing on schedule, trimming where lawn meets ravine, cleaning up what the storms bring down. There's a wildness to this corner of the city that makes a kept yard feel earned rather than assumed. When the mower shuts off and the cicadas take back the air, the lawn behind you is proof of an afternoon well spent.
