About Jumpin Joe's Lawn Services

Saturday in Merriam Park sounds like sprinklers, screen doors, and somebody's mower two blocks over — and often enough that mower belongs to Jumpin Joe's Lawn Services. They bring a certain cheerfulness to the work, hustling between the square streetcar-era lots between Marshall and the river, leaving each one striped and squared away. Boulevard strips get the same attention as backyards; the trim around the tree wells gets done, not skipped. In a neighborhood where people actually sit on their porches, a fresh-cut lawn is part of the view. Joe's crew likes knowing that when the afternoon slows down and the shade gets long, the grass underneath it looks exactly right.
