About D & C Lawn Care LLC

Every spring the Wisconsin River rises against the levee on Portage's west side, and a week or two later the grass on the town side goes from brown to green almost overnight. D & C Lawn Care LLC is out for that first cut of the year, and every week after — mowing, trimming, edging, and carrying off whatever the season sheds. Cleanup opens things in April, once the ground is finally firm enough to rake without tearing at it. By midsummer the routine is set and the yards keep their shape straight through the heat. Then October arrives, the leaves come down, and the last cut of the year goes in low and even.
