DAYTON OUTDOOR INC.

About DAYTON OUTDOOR INC.

From the top of Dayton's Bluff you can watch the Mississippi bend south below Mounds Park, and you can watch every season arrive early — the wind hits the high ground first. DAYTON OUTDOOR INC. works that terrain in both of its moods. In summer they mow and trim the steep-shouldered yards of the East Side, keeping grass tight against the slope; in winter they plow and shovel the same streets, where snow piles deep in the lee of the bluff. It is honest, physical work with a long view of the river valley for company. Whatever the month, the goal doesn't change: pavement you can walk and turf you can be proud of, right at the edge of the city's oldest overlook.
