B J M Landscape and Snow Removal

About B J M Landscape and Snow Removal

Down along West Seventh, where the river fog climbs the pilings of the High Bridge on cold mornings, the work of a yard is really the work of the year. B J M Landscape and Snow Removal takes both halves of it: the growing season, with its mowing and trimming and beds brought back into shape, and the frozen season, when the plow pushes the Mississippi Valley's snow off driveways and back where it belongs. Summer here smells like cut grass and river water; winter sounds like a steel edge finding pavement. The pleasure is in the turnaround — a lot that looked buried at dawn, bare and dry by breakfast; a shaggy lawn made crisp in an afternoon. In St. Paul, the seasons are not gentle, and the answer is simply to meet them with the right machine and a steady hand.
