About R & L Construction LLC

Highway 43 climbs out of the Root River valley onto open ridge, and that is where Rushford winters show their teeth: wind crossing bare fields, snow moving sideways, drifts rebuilding an hour after they are cut. R & L Construction LLC runs snow removal for that country, plowing driveways and yards up on the ridge and down in town where the bluffs hold the cold. Nights belong to the plow, headlights and a blade and the long back-and-forth until a driveway is a driveway again. There is a plain pleasure in a clean apron at the road and a path to the door with square shoulders. When the wind comes back around, the truck goes back out.
