Lawn Shark

About Lawn Shark

Early June light in Roseville is made for stripes. Lawn Shark cuts them — long, alternating bands of green down the yards off Victoria Street, the kind of pattern that makes a person slow the car. The name carries the attitude: blades kept sharp, lines kept straight, nothing left ragged at the edges. They circle a property the way their namesake circles, methodically, missing nothing — the strip along the fence, the tight corner by the AC unit, the crescent around the shade tree. When they pull away, the lawn has that fresh-cut smell and a finish you can see from three houses down. Summer in the first-ring suburbs deserves nothing less.
