Nature's Caretaker

About Nature's Caretaker

After a night snowfall, Rogers goes quiet in a particular way — sound falls out of the air, chickadees work the spruce rows, and every branch carries its own white line. Nature's Caretaker moves through that hush with a light touch, clearing snow so the morning can begin without ruining it. Walks are shoveled to their edges, steps cleared square, driveways opened without gouging the lawn sleeping underneath. It is careful work in a season that rewards care; out toward the woods and creek country by Elm Creek, winter is something to be tended, not fought. The rounds cover Rogers, Dayton, Champlin, and Maple Grove.
