Liberty Lawn and Snow

About Liberty Lawn and Snow

January nights in Rockford are quiet in a specific way: the Crow River running black under its ice shelves, streetlights catching snow that comes sideways, and nobody out. Liberty Lawn and Snow is out. Plowing drives and lots, shoveling steps and walks, pushing the banks off the corners so people can see when they pull into the road — the work gets done in the dark so the morning can be ordinary. Then April arrives and those same properties want mowing, trimming, edging and a cleanup to get the winter off them. It's one long circle, and both ends of it come down to a place that's clear, even and ready when someone needs it.
