About Houghtelin Lawncare LLC

Chatfield sits where the north and south branches of the Root River find each other, and the valley walls hold the weather like cupped hands. On a January morning the plow lights swing up the Highway 52 grade while the town is still blue, and by the time the coffee is poured the driveways stand open, clean down to the pavement. Come May the same trucks trade blades for mowers, and the yards along the Chosen Valley come back in stripes and squared corners. There is real satisfaction in an edge cut so straight it makes the sidewalk look new. Houghtelin Lawncare LLC handles both ends of that year — snow removal when the valley fills in, lawn care when it greens up again.
